Northside Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a growing sacred community that wants you to be touched by God’s Grace and in turn be the touch of God’s Grace in the world.
Just as you can come to God just as you are Northside is a gathering place where all people are welcome.
Straight, gay, soldier, pacifist, rich, poor, reconciler, racist, republican, democrat, conservative, liberal, wedded, divorced, re-married, unmarried,
All are welcome here because all people are in need of God’s Grace.
Touched by this Grace we seek to live graceful lives.
We believe that as more sincere seekers of God’s Spirit gather with us in
open, honest, non-judgemental and compassionate
study, fellowship, service and worship the better God’s Spirit will form us.
We hope Northside is the sacred community God has sent you searching for and that our invitation to you to join us is a blessing.

What Does It Matter?
Begins Feb 7th during Sunday School at 9:00
What Does It Matter? A discussion class during Sunday School that will utilize documentary films to engage us in conversation about the role or the lack of role the confession of Jesus as Lord has in our lives.

Mingle Dinner
The Mingle Dinner is March 14th. Every member and friend is invited to a host house for supper. A great time to get to know someone better.
Presence
Presence will meet at the church on March 10th at 6 pm for supper and fellowship.
Easter Egg Hunt
Our annual community Easter Egg Hunt is on Saturday April 3 at 10 am. Hope you can share with us the wonder and joy of a spring!
LGBT Discussion Group
A discussion group for LGBT Christians interested in delving into the intersection between their faith and their sexuality will start meeting in April on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8.
Holy Week
Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday on March 28th. Our worship will focus our attention on the proclamation that Jesus is King of the Jews.

Passover
Maundy Thursday is the day the church remembers the Lord’s last meal with his disciples in the upper room. Spiritual seekers hoping to heighten the Passover experience are invited to fast from food for the day. We will then break the fast in a simple meal of fellowship and remembrance.
This meal is for those who fast only.
Good Friday
Good Friday we will mourn the death of Jesus, remember the fear of the disciples and focus our attention on the cost of reconciliation with God through Christ. Everyone is invited to this time of somber worship and reflection in the Chapel at 6 pm.
Saturday Evening Purification and Renewal
Serious spiritual seekers looking for an intense time of purification from sin and celebration of new life in Christ through re-baptism are invited to a Sweat Lodge Purification Ritual followed by a plunge in Norris Lake as a renewal of new life through the waters of baptism. Our evening starts at 6 pm.
Easter Morning Sunrise Service
We will greet the sun in worship and celebration on this Day of Resurrection. Worship begins at 7 am.
Easter Morning PotLuck Breakfast
The best meal of the year for the best day of the year. Bring a dish to share and fellowship with the Body of Christ on this glorious day of salvation
