Little Shepherds
Little children are capable of changing the world!
Little Shepherds is a time for children to share the Good News of God's love in simple and joyful ways. The children participate in activities such as; visiting a nursing home, cleaning up a park, helping at the food pantry, visiting shut ins and more. Little Shepherd's is also a great time for the parents of little children to fellowship and grow closer together as a larger family of God. Little Shepherds meets the third Sunday of every month.
Fall Schedule
Sunday Sept 5th after church: Sculpting hand crosses with clay and lunch.
Hand crosses are formed to fit easily in a clenched fist and are ideal instruments of focusing prayer for the elderly who have cleched hands. The hand crosses our Little Shepherds make will be kilned and returned to the kids for decoration.
Sunday Oct 3 after church: decorate with glaze the hand crosses and lunch.
Sunday Nov 7 after church: lunch and give out the hand crosses.
