Small Groups

Northside is just beginning to really develop a Small Group Ministry.  Below you will find a number of groups-some new some old, but hopefully, something for everyone. 

Small groups provide opportunities to grow together as a Body of Christ through close intimate relationships.  It is here in Small Groups that much of the power of Christ's Presence is discovered.  Come Join Us!

Disciple Woman's Ministry

DWM is as important to Northside as wheels are to a car.  This sisterhood of Christian Women has been meeting to study, pray, fellowship and serve since Northside began.  DWM meets on the last Friday morning of each month

Carpenter's

The Carpenters are aptly named.  This group of men connects 5 Disciple churches in our area for monthly times of study, prayer and fellowship.  They are always planning the next big project.

Nightingales – Evening Women's Group

This is a new small group at Northside.  This intimate fellowship of woman meets for dinner once a month, the fourth Saturday of every month,  to grow together as a sisterhood of mutual support.

Presence

This is a new small group at Northside seeking to share a welcoming and playful Presence of God with the strangers and neighbors in the local parks of Fountain City.  Presence is an inclusive gathering where all people are invited into the grace of God.  We share a simple meal, play around, have intentional conversation and worship with old and new friends on the last Wednesday of each month.   Come Join Us!  

Middle Ground

Middle Ground is for anyone in the middle years of life-20 to 40 generally- who seek good fellowship and service opportunities.  Middle Ground meets on the second Friday of each month. 

Supper Club

Supper Club is a time of fellowship, conversation and prayer at church every Wednesday evening from 6-7.  Bring your own supper. 

Marriage Matters

Marriage Matters is Northside's marriage group.  Marriage matters to our well-being and there are marriage mattes to discuss.  Marriage takes work.  This group meets to discuss the ins and outs of marriage within a supportive, non-judgemental community.  Marriage group meets the fourth Friday of each month.

Little Shepherds

Little Shepherds is the fellowship and service group for our youngest children and their parents.   We make cards, visit shut-ins, clean parks and more. 

Coffee Time

Coffee Time is a casual conversation group that meets at Northside around Coffee.  Discussions vary from politics, current events, old memories and new ones.  Coffee Time meets on Tuesday's at 10:30.
