Coffee Chat

Coffee Chat is a small group which meets at Northside every Tuesday morning at 10:30 am for discussion. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Presently, Coffee Chatters chatter about the intersection of faith and life by perusing the newspaper and other articles of interest.
Don't be surprised by what the Chatters talk about-or for that matter how they talk about it. Coffee Chat is a great community you can raise your point of view in a loving way without being judged-even if you are disagreed with.
Book Discussion
Read the 1st chapter for our discussion on August 31st.
Coffee Chat is inviting everyone to a book discussion featuring Justice: What Is the Right Thing To Do by Michael Sandel. What Is The Right Thing To Do explores competing ethical frameworks using modern examples from public life. This book will teach us how to think ethically, what the pro's and con's of each ethical system and what the authors considers to be the best ethical system to determine what the right thing to do is.
This book is challenging academically and morally. We will work through the systems of though carefully and discuss the moral questions he raises kindly.
I can guarantee there will be a lot of discussion.
Book Discussion begins on Tuesday August 31st.
It is not to late to join us, ever! I have extra books. Come and share.
